Our story
Express Metals commenced trading in August 2001 as a small local supplier of Aluminium & Stainless Steel products, in and around the Swansea area. As the business grew so did our stock range to include the most comprehensive range of metal products and processing facilities in the area.
Our mission
To remain a market leader and preferred supplier to many of our customers we have an ongoing review of our systems, products and processes. We regularly implement more innovative ways to supply our range of products to meet the dynamic demands of the marketplace. This has included developing our own processing department and in 2017 we achieved ISO accreditation. We have manual and automatic band saws up to 500mm capacity, guillotine facilities and bespoke packing requirements to meet specific customer needs.
Our vision
We now have over 500 loyal credit customers along with many cash sale customers using our products to serve a wide range of industries. These include construction, precision & general engineering, maintenance, automotive, petrochemical, food, packaging and many others. From independent metal workers to multi-million pounds turnover companies. Our range of products and ability to react immediately, allows customers to use Express Metals as a single source supplier to reduce administrative and inventory costs in their own business.
We have in excess of 350 suppliers which we use for thousands of products as and when required. We have learnt over the years the value of good suppliers. If we do not stock the item you require, we will endeavour to source it quickly and efficiently.
Deliveries & Collections
Using our own fleet of 18 tonnes and 7.5-tonne delivery vehicles enables us to deliver all stock items on a next day basis. We are also able to offer a same-day delivery service if required.
If you need to collect goods from stock – confirm your order with us and we guarantee to process your order and load onto your vehicle within a few minutes of arriving.
